Easy French Onion Soup

This delicious soup can be made in 30 minutes.
It's satisfying and very flavourful.
We have it as meal sometimes served with garlic bread on the side.

EASY FRENCH ONION SOUP
***************************
3 large yellow or white onions - sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cups beef broth
2 tbsp beef bouillon 
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp pepper
Toasted baguette or french bread
Grated Parmesan cheese

In a large pot, over medium heat, cook onions with oil until they are nicely browned and tender.
This should take about 15 minutes.
Add broth, bouillon, Worcestershire and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Spoon soup into oven proof bowls and top with a slice of toasted bread and Parmesan cheese.
Broil for about a minute until the cheese is nice and brown.
Watch carefully as it doesn't take long.

* if you have an extra 15 minutes, bake in a 400* F oven for 15 minutes before broiling.
